No More Keys

My keychain is empty.
All my keys are gone.

I once owned a house,
But I sold it to be free.
And when I went to closing,
I turned over the key.

My keychain is empty.
All my keys are gone.

I rented an apartment.
Just a short-term thing.
But when the lease was up,
The key came off my ring.

My keychain is empty.
All my keys are gone.

I worked in an office.
It was an important job.
As I transitioned to new things,
I turned in my key fob.

My keychain is empty.
All my keys are gone.

I had a Honda Civic car,
In my favorite color, blue.
I had to sell it pretty fast.
And those keys are gone now, too.

My keychain is empty.
All my keys are gone.

All my keys were in the way
Of where I’m called to go.
One by one, they’ve disappeared
And now I’m glad to know:

My keychain is empty.
All my keys are gone.
Keychain
